Outer North Delhi
- Headquarters
- DM Office Complex, Alipur (interim office)
- Population
- No independent count yet
- Area
- No independent figure yet
Created on 1 January 2026 from the outlying portions of the old North Delhi district (Narela, Alipur, Bawana) plus Mundka from the old North West Delhi district — isolating Delhi's semi-rural and industrial periphery from the denser inner belt now grouped under Central North. No independent population or area figure exists yet for this boundary. Contains the Narela and Bawana industrial estates (among Delhi's largest), the Narela grain market at the city's northern gateway to Haryana, and an agrarian, resettlement-colony fringe around Alipur. The Green Line currently terminates at Mundka; a Phase IV Metro extension (Rithala-Narela-Nathupur, roughly 26 km with 21 elevated stations) was approved in December 2024 and was still under construction as of mid-2026, with no confirmed opening date.
